Meet your Hosts:
Kimberly Welsh
Kimberly is a wellness/adventure coach from Southern California. She has been an avid hiker and outdoor enthusiast for seven years. Her love for nature and fitness inspires her to help others live their best lives through movement, mindset, and exploring the outdoors.
Kimberly is a hiking guide at The Pearl in Laguna Beach, California. Over the last two years, she has taken up solo backpacking in the Eastern Sierras and various National Parks. This motivated her to start up a passion project called Wanderin2wellness where she began her journey in training beginner hiker/backpackers in preparation and readiness with gear tips, advice, guided hikes and fitness training.
Exploring the outdoors, connecting with nature, traveling and helping others continues to open up her world. Her goal is to continue to gain knowledge, help people get to know their strengths, and empower them to pursue new endeavors.
You can follow Kimberly’s journey on Instagram @wanderin2wellness or visit her website at wanderin2wellness.com for adventure inspiration, trail tips, future destinations, and more.
Heidi Trevino
Heidi has been practicing and teaching yoga throughout South Orange County for the over 10 years. She earned her first 200-hour Yoga certification through The California School of Hot Yoga. She most recently completed another 200-hour Vinyasa and Bhakti Yoga certification through Dharma Yoga House, taking her deep into yoga philosophy and the rich and beautiful path that yoga provides. Heidi is also trained and certified in Yoga Cardio Sculpt, Yogalates and Restorative Yoga from various studios. Her teaching ability and heart for teaching is vast and deep.
As an avid mountain biker and spin enthusiast, Heidi began practicing yoga as a means to stretch and open up her body. After taking her fist class, however, she came to realize that yoga was so much more than a physical practice. Since that time she has come to her mat regularly, deepening her awareness to the mind-body connection that yoga provides.
Heidi offers a wide-range of yoga practices including Hot Power Fusion, Vinyasa, Cardio Sculpt, Shred Yoga, Yogalates, Yin, and Restorative Yoga. In all of her classes, Heidi creates a space where one can experience a mind and body release that will both challenge and inspire. She believes Yoga practice is an endless journey to self exploration and healing that will result in bringing you to your highest self.
During her first 200hr teacher training, Heidi was playfully given the nickname Heidikrishna by her fellow teacher trainees. You can follow @heidikrishna on Instagram for class locations and times in Orange County, CA.
